The heated swimming pool and cactus garden were created as peaceful outdoor spaces designed for slow mornings, relaxed afternoons and quiet evenings under the Lanzarote sun.

Surrounded by volcanic stone, cacti and white architecture inspired by César Manrique, the garden offers calm and intimate corners where guests can fully slow down and disconnect at their own pace.

The 7 x 3 m swimming pool is heated throughout the year and maintained daily with a modern filtration and UV cleaning system allowing lower chlorine levels for greater comfort of the skin and eyes. During the winter months, the water temperature usually stays between 22 and 24°C.

Around the pool, each casita has its own private “zoco” — traditional volcanic stone walls inspired by Lanzarote’s vineyard landscapes, reimagined at Casitas Santa Rita as private chill-out spaces with comfortable sun loungers, electricity and high-speed Wi-Fi for relaxation or peaceful remote work outdoors.

The cactus garden becomes especially atmospheric in the evening, with soft lighting illuminating the pool, plants and white walls after sunset. From the garden, guests can enjoy views of the village church and, on clear nights, breathtaking star-filled skies above northern Lanzarote.

Hidden beneath the shade of a tree, the garden also features a quiet retreat corner — a peaceful enclave to read, rest or simply enjoy the calm surroundings overlooking the pool and cactus garden.
