Give Lanzarote Time
Perhaps there’s more to Lanzarote than you planned for.
You may already have a list.
Timanfaya. Papagayo. Jameos del Agua. La Geria. And they absolutely deserve to be on it.
But give Lanzarote a little more time and another side of the island begins to appear.
A quiet beach you hadn’t heard about. A road you take simply because you’ve never taken it before. A village at a different time of day. Volcanic landscapes away from the crowds. Or an afternoon when you decide that doing very little is exactly what you came for.
A Quiet Base for Another Lanzarote
We first came to Lanzarote as visitors almost fifteen years ago. Today we live here — and the island still surprises us.
That experience shaped Casitas Santa Rita: a peaceful boutique stay in northern Lanzarote, created for guests looking for peace and quiet, space and the freedom to discover the island at their own pace.
Because some of the Lanzarote we love most is not difficult to find.
It simply takes a little more time.
We Call It Otro Mundo
Over the years, we began collecting the places, people, stories and experiences that made us look at Lanzarote differently.
Some became Otro Mundo Stories — stories we felt were worth telling.
Others became Otro Mundo Experience — practical ideas and local knowledge to help you explore beyond the obvious, find quieter corners and discover how much the island can change depending on where you go, when you go and what you are looking for.
Consider it an invitation, not an itinerary.

Leave a Little Room for the Unexpected
See Timanfaya. Go to Papagayo. Discover the places that brought you to Lanzarote in the first place.
Just don’t feel you have to see it all in a hurry.
Come for the places you already know. Stay a little longer for the ones you don’t.
